In 1999, Francisco Chapa III picked up his first set of trim tools and discovered something more than a trade — he found his calling. By 2000, that calling became Houston Cabinet Makers, a company built on one simple belief: every home deserves craftsmanship that lasts a lifetime.
From the very beginning, Francisco was hands-on — on the job site before sunrise, measuring twice, cutting once, and earning the trust of homeowners and builders across Greater Houston. By 2007, HCM was already building entire custom homes for clients like Apollo 13 astronaut Fred Haise — the kind of trust that only comes from a proven track record of excellence.
Since 2000, that same hands-on mentality drives everything we do. Our team of master craftsmen carries forward Francisco's founding principles: use the finest materials, never rush the process, and treat every client's home as if it were our own.
